1. Who Sends These Messages

These SMS Terms of Service govern text messages sent by Army Pink to individuals who have provided a phone number in connection with transportation or support services.

2. Your Consent

By providing your phone number and opting in, you agree to receive automated SMS messages from Army Pink related to your safe-transportation ride and wellness support, including:

• A supportive message sent during your ride, which may include a link to a calming wellness resource (such as a sound bath) and, where applicable, safe-arrival instructions

• A wellness follow-up message sent approximately 48 hours after drop-off, which may include a link to a wellness resource

Messages are sent from a 213 area code number using services provided by Twilio, Inc. Some messages contain links to Army Pink wellness resources.

3. Voluntary Participation

Consent to receive SMS messages is not required to access transportation or any other services from Army Pink. You may receive services whether or not you opt in to SMS communications.

4. Message Frequency and Rates

• Message frequency varies based on your scheduled rides

• Typically up to 2 messages per ride (an in-ride support message and a 48-hour wellness follow-up)

• Message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier and plan

5. Opt-Out Instructions

You may withdraw your consent at any time by texting STOP to any Army Pink message.

After opting out, you will receive one final confirmation message.
Opting out will not affect your access to Army Pink services.

7. Privacy

Your phone number and personal information are protected under Army Pink’s Privacy Policy:

• Your information will not be sold or shared with third parties except as outlined in the policy

• Twilio, the SMS delivery provider, processes your number solely to transmit messages and is contractually bound to data protection obligations

8. Confidentiality Obligations

Army Pink complies with federal confidentiality laws, including:

• Violence Against Women Act (VAWA)

• Victims of Crime Act (VOCA)

• Family Violence Prevention and Services Act (FVPSA)

These laws prohibit disclosure of personally identifying information without your informed, written, and time-limited consent, except where required by law.
